I'm still waiting for my aura and amulet to arrive since I have been a paying member since 2005 which is well over the 12 month minimum that this gets awarded to as well.

That's not the same. You have to have actually purchased the VIP Package (Or the 3 months summer deal) to get the aura and the amulet. I purchased the 3 months 2 days ago and got the aura and amulet right when I logged back in.

It's also for those who have had continuous membership for 12+ months. I got mine yesterday without VIP

Quite a few people are having delays getting them. They're asking those who haven't got them yet, but should have, to post on some sticky in "Recent Updates" so that they can find a pattern between these people and hopefully fix it.

Very OP items, especially considering they're not available for everyone!

They found out that the process they used for the 12 consecutive months was harsher than they intended it to be and discounted people who lost membership for even an hour when other process they do consecutive membership give like a week grace period to keep it counted as consecutive. They are going back and getting these people that should have gotten it but didn't due to the overly strict reqs that weren't intended.
