eoc dungeoneering binds - Dave - 2012-11-14

This is my setup at the minute:

With eoc coming out next week, I'm wondering what I can do to improve on this. Obviously I can upgrade some of this stuff to t11, but besides that I'm not really sure what to do. I kind of want a mage setup, but I'm not really sure how realistic that is with only one ammo bind.

I'm sort of mixed up and don't really know what I'm doing, so if anyone can help me figure out what I should do I'd be eternally +1 grateful.

Doomcore staff is the best staff in EoC- I think the elemental staves are meant to be pretty useless now. Definitely worth going out of your way to getting at least celestial or whatever it's called. All the non-elemental staves provide unlimited elemental runes of every type, and all you need for fire surge is air and fire runes.

Gauntlets are meant to be pretty much useless in EoC. I get the idea that having stab, crush and slash isn't too important any more so you only need the one weapon.. I think.. Spear is meant to be the best- it's just as strong as a 2h but a quicker attack speed.

I've tried to cover melee, range and magic at least somewhat so my binds are:
- Plate + Legs + 2h (Changing to spear)
- Body + Chaps + Hex
- Mage Top + Doomcore
- Blood Neck + Seeker's Charm

No idea if the charm is any good though- bound it just in case.

What I got.

Going to change stego body for sag when I get one. Maybe Ill get a spear incase thats better too.

I probably wont use my second set up. First is for going through the dung. Third is for mage bosses like necro or flesh.
When I find a blood necklace, that will replace the p guants.

I feel like having more than range and melee wont help much since jagex are adjusting the triangle so that same styles do more damage to each other.

And Raezdn, hood was never a good bind.

so what i should just throw my hood away?

RE: eoc dungeoneering binds - Gohankuten - 2012-11-15

I would suggest prom/prim spear, prom/prim 1h weapon of choice, prom/prim pl8, prom/prim shield, blood neck, spirt/celes robe top, ecs/ccs/doomcore staff, hex/sagi/grave bow, sagi/tyrano body, and for the last bind not sure what to put in. That basically covers everything you will need in dg. The 1h weapon and shield is for shielding on some bosses like Thunderous where shield makes em face roll easy and faster. Probably for general pathing just have spear+bn+pl8+bow/staff+(for 120s)staff/bow and the other stuff is for setting up switches for different bosses.

I have prom 2h, prim plate & legs, hex and sag top & bottom.

when I get prim gaunts I'll bind those

is it at 120 when you can use all 5 slots?

RE: eoc dungeoneering binds - Gohankuten - 2012-11-15

Well atm im running surge box but when the EoC comes out ill run arrows since the staffs will be omnistaffs so won't need the surgebox or at least that is what I have heard.
