RE: Behind the Scenes - December - Evaluate - 2011-12-02 I'm Evaluate, and I approve of this news post. RE: Behind the Scenes - December - AlchemyHawk - 2011-12-02 Gohan: haters gonna hate. Jagex is doing great, if you look at every update with a negative attitude then you will see it as negative update. This month looks great, lots of good stuff. RE: Behind the Scenes - December - Wendy - 2011-12-02 Runescape is about change, some people don't like any sort of change, so then they see it as negative. The one thing that keeps me playing RS is the changes and new content. Different is not always bad. It just takes a while to get used to it, like when they changed from the small screen to re-sizable, took me weeks to get used to the layout, but I love it. Free updates are a major drawcard for me. Over the years the changes have been enormous when you look back and see the differences in not just graphics but, chat functionality , clicking within game, and speed all in a browser game ! RE: Behind the Scenes - December - Heather - 2011-12-02 Merry Christmas to us from Jagex, about time they have a month full of useful updates Cant wait for alot of these updates! RE: Behind the Scenes - December - PiXeYstyx - 2011-12-02 Wow, I'm really impressed by these updates. Now I just hope I can remember to log in the days I need to get those bonus loyalty points. RE: Behind the Scenes - December - Portus - 2011-12-02 Oh dear, more loyalty junk New mini game sounds alright, look forward to getting that gear and testing it out! Bank space? Really? Mine's full of junk yet over 300 spaces, why does everyone need moar?!?! Questing will be much nicer with this new spacebar thing! As with the toolbelt, farming trips will be bloody easy to do in between other tasks considering you only need to carry seeds now. Looks good overall RE: Behind the Scenes - December - Zooperman - 2011-12-02 6000 extra loyalty points?!? omg! <3 RE: Behind the Scenes - December - Gohankuten - 2011-12-02 (2011-12-02 00:44:02)AlchemyHawk Wrote: Gohan: haters gonna hate. I will admit with the exception of removing F2P from the hiscores their past few updates have been good but this has happened before and then they go back to being disappointing updates. Jagex's own track record is against them in my opinion for updates. Their past track record is what made me adopt the wait and see attitude with negative outlook since more often than not the updates sound better than they turn out to be. RE: Behind the Scenes - December - Dave - 2011-12-02 I see where you're coming from. I personally think the vast majority of updates we've seen in the last year or two are nothing to get excited about, so I'm not prepared to say that they've reversed the trend for good after one great month. Just the same, this sounds like some pretty nice stuff. How many weeks are there in December, anyway? The tool belt and money pouch sound good. I don't personally need the extra bank space, but it sounds like maybe I can clean up my bank a little by getting rid of a few rows of tools in there. The chat update also sounds good, and I like the sound of more similar updates in the future. Using the number keys on the item creation menus would be a nice touch. Looking forward to the new loyalty updates too. As someone who hasn't bought anything since day one, I'm going to be first in line for whatever we get this month. By the end of the 12 days of Christmas I will have 48k points if I log in every day. RE: Behind the Scenes - December - Random Dandy - 2011-12-02 idk why but the loyalty points system (sadly) doesn't seem to get me very excited However I am looking forward to what Jagex call "Improvement Projects" as these are often the best kind of updates IMO as even though they sound small, they are the sort of things that are used hundreds of times a day |
