Well training the skill Dungeoneering in itself is useless, but the rewards however aren't

Agreed.
Firemaking is rather pointless considering you don't actually gain anything from the skill besides experience and a sore wrist. Construction also sinks into this category considering it's basically just a money-sink.

However Construction can help other skills though.
For example Gilded Altar has completeley changed prayer.

While I played many accounts over the years and they've all had their fair share of decent levels, I think personally Firemaking was my least favorite/used skill over all. There are too many ranges, which are better to use for cooking placed all around RuneScape, there really has never been a need for me to make a fire. Even as a "useless" skill it's came in handy on several occasions though.

For me it is a tie between Firemaking (even though I went and achieved 99 in it) and Dungeoneering. The rewards are great but I personally have no use for them anymore as the majority of my skills pertaining to the rewards are 99. I find the skill itself horrible and have been using penguins, lamps and tears since level 37 now lol
