BTS Special - RuneScape 3 Release Date - Wader - 2013-07-03

22 July is when its released. Though i'm surprised at this, and them pushing the HTML5 client. Last i played it, the performance was terrible... going to play it now see if its still just as bad.
Divination will also be released "about a month after" the rs3 release
Edit: FPS situation is a little better, getting ~20 when standing still, though it drops to 10 when running about, but it looks like they've either tonned down the graphics/textures or they've disabled anti-aliasing (things look really jagged and item textures are terrible). Either way they're gunna release it in its current state, which is facepalm, or they have a big update on release day, which will be untested, which is also facepalm......

I don't think they'll release it in the current state.
They haven't updated the HTML5 beta at all, so it's still shitty.

Well from the video i would assume thats whats gunna be released as "RS3", they bash on about it throughout the entire video

It's become the new industry standard over the last decade or so, to release a product right away and finish it later.
