Just maximise your defence bonuses - the best thing to do is get some barrows, a decent shield and that should do it. Even Granite legs work well.

I'd normally also wear barrows gloves but forgot to put them on.

maybe wear guthans as you are lower combat, I just don't like wearing expensive items in case I die and no one blesses me as I lag alot in this world

Mate, I'm going to be honest with you. It doesn't really matter, as long as you have got some armour. The chances of you getting attacked are quite slim, and if you do there will always be someone to bless your grave. I simple have a high prayer bonus, if I am attacked and get low health, well just pray, simple as that.

I take it that you're Fishing?

You hardly get attacked whilst down there but perhaps wear something with a little defence but you wouldn't mind losing... perhaps rune plate+legs?

When I was down there Mining I took Varrock Armour 3, Dragon platelegs, Infinity hat, Infinity Boots and Barrow Gloves... although I rarely got attacked so it's not really needed... oh and take Enhanced Excalibur if you have it - well worth it.

I'm never overly picky about what I wear, just take some decent armor (rune does the trick for me) to take a few hits, keep auto retal off, and wear varrock armor 2 or 3 if you have it (and dont mind giving up the bonuses in the body slot)

you could also bring a familiar to help if you so choose, but its still quick whichever way its looked at. I tend to bring gear for prayer (falador shield is awesome for this) just in case I stumble across a patrich on a world. Ya make a pretty penny from them
