The only thing I see is that we're not really a specialist clan at heart, so it makes sense that if you want to be here as a specialist "skiller," you'd need to work a little harder.

But that's just my view, I'm sure Jordan can better explain why the reqs are the way they are.

18 skills can be trained as a level 3, even more as you advance to a level 30. 1400/18 is 77. 1 level difference won't make or break someone.

Actually only 17 skills can be trained and stay a level 3 since there are 25 skills total and 8 skills that affect combat level(att, str, def, magic, range, const, pray, sum).

And Eval the specialist skillers already have to work harder generally to reach the same average level per skill that they train as the normal accounts.

My mistake, however you also have to take into account the new combat calculator, which will rule out prayer and summoning. The difference is simply not enough to justify a 100 levels in a requirement change.
