Seriously people, what happened? This is not the real Surreal. If this was the real Surreal I never would have taken the time to fill out the application to join back on January 9th, 2015.
There's no need for any insults from anyone (I don't know who all is involved and even if I did I wouldn't point at everyone involved). Keep your heads on and explain it *respectfully* to people who don't understand. Because, need I repeat, this is NOT the real Surreal. I KNOW it isn't. Drama, insults, etc isn't what this clan is based on.
A lot of people are extremely high strung by this activity point requirement change (I'm not, but I can definitely feel it from others), and therefore there's a lot of negative emotions swirling around. Not everyone is gonna understand and we as a clan have to be patient and respectful with them, because isn't that part of what Surreal is based on? Kindness and respect? I thought so, but I'm not feeling either of those things right now, and it's sad.
Arguements happen from time to time Mel, at the time it happens it might not look alright but it also helps to keep people sharp in some way. I'm not implying people shouldn't treat eachother with respect though. It's unrealistic to think arguements should be out of the question since there will always be times when people get on edge with eachother a little.
I agree with you that the main way to go in Surreal is kindness and respect and that those guidelines should be followed. I'm sure Downfall, Joey and the others are willing to help out people who can't always meet the required points (as stated by both Jordan and Joey already).
Oh, I totally understand where you're coming from Velvet. I know arguments will inevitably happen, and sometimes clannies will get on edge/rub each other the wrong way, but there should never be a necessity to be insulting or anything of the sort, at any time. It's perfectly understandable that arguments will happen from time to time, but it can still be done maturely ^_^
I think some people are just freaked out cause instead of only needing to attend 4 events in a month, they now need to attend 7. Plus, 250 looks like a daunting number compared to 130 (at least I thought so). I'm not worried about it though, but I also know I don't have as tight of schedules as others do. And yes, Jordy and his staff (not just Joey) are willing to work with anyone affected by this, I'm sure of it
