So nodes are better xp than the creatures. I found a spot that basically spawns nodes at a decent rate. Find an empty world, and all that xp is yours. There is also a Death esswraith so you can get more ess. Here's where it is.

There may be better, But I like this one.
Also, the island just to the south also spawns quite a few nodes as well
Most important thing to do is find an empty world though

Any idea of the exp/ph there?

I can't really be sure, but I heard a few guys claiming around 75-80k/hr, and they were both around 85 rc.
