Like I said earlier, it is about time that DG got updated. I am not a big fan of relying on others to help me train my skills, so I trained DG basically by myself for so long. Can't wait to be able to solo it and get decent xp.

If so, I don't think it really increases XP rates, just makes them more sustainable. "If everybody helps his neighbour then who needs help?"

I think it's more to do with the dg update, and it's pretty silly. Solo/small teams is never going to measure up to a 5:5 team, but I'm glad they're finally making it an option to train the skill at a reasonable rate. As far as make-x goes, if anything cleaning herbs and other things affected by the update will be slower than they are now, given that you can clean more than one herb in a single game tick. I used to make my money stringing bows way back before it had a make-x, and I was sort of let down that I couldn't do it as fast anymore. It's easy enough for me to look at it from that angle, but I still think it ultimately made the game better and that this update will too. If you have the time to do so lol I think these updates look pretty solid for the first updates since I started really playing again Also excited for the DG update as I am more or less a solo player, I just don't like to let people down when I have to run off midway to take care of my kids or anything else that comes up in my hectic life. I was able to get 82 via lamps when I returned to RS and would still like to eventually get 99.

The new make-x menu has already been added to the beta, and according to the BTS video it'll be out next week with the Tears update. It looks like this:
You can clean herbs with it in the beta, and the menus in dg have also been brought up to date: The xp rates, ge/alch values, etc. may be helpful if you're a new player, but generally everyone here is going to go in already knowing those figures. So it just looks more complex without adding anything helpful to us, but you can get used to it and use it just like the old one.
