Coooool Updates!
Got my first Dragon Defender tonight...after since they came out. Tried to get another but just wasnt happening lol.
Will be cool to see the new Hitsplats too!

I *finally* got a dragon defender. It was so funny because it took me about 3 hours to get the mithril defender, then after I got it, 10 kills to get the addy, then 1 kill to get rune, and just 1 more to get the dragon one!!
I really like having it and plan to use it all the time

I do wonder though why Jagex allows people to get more than one defender at once. It seems like it'd be an unfair thing in pking and like it'd mess it up. Then again, I don't pk myself Tongue

Why? You can have multiple kiteshields, multiple swords, etc. I don't see how it makes a difference at all.

The only thing it would devalue is a few shields, such as the dragon fire shield (which I think is rising again). Even so, the dfs isn't used in pvp so that really doesn't change. It might devalue things like the rune kiteshield, but most people used the rune defender for that anyways.

If anything, it could raise other gear such as rune. Dragon defender is one thing you don't need to buy back and that money could be spent on other things.

Actually, I can name quite a few ppl I know personally that use DFS while pking, namely range tanks. However, I cannot seeing DFS dropping to far seeing as its defensive bonuses are second to only a few other shields.

Not a big fan of the new hitsplats and everything, I do not hate it though.
They are okay, I just liked the way it was (I am hater of change). Whistle
