So, i like to customize everything and also make things easier on me. So i saw OS buddy which is very well made for old school not RS3. But i researched and found two that seem popular and actually well made with many features i find useful, now i'm not here to advertise but rather discuss and information gather, i'm paranoid of losing my account since i worked hard for it, there is always a risk to what we do, but it would still be a nice addition to my client, so i ask your opinions or personal experiences, does anyone here use any overlays such as alt1 or swiftkit and have any information to give me regarding them or know someone that used them bad or good anything helps.

If you're looking for a direct client overlay which does not interfere with your game whatsoever, then ALT1 is the way to go. I use it currently and it has a nice list of features that only help. The clue scroll solver is amazing, the overlays for locking a youtube\twitch module onto the screen is awesome as well. It's entire safe as well(virus wise, it has none). Jagex hasn't given an official stance on whether it's allowed, but there's thousands of people using it and no confirmed bans of it so far. I'm sure Jagex is aware of it and they're letting it slide.

Swiftkit is a client that myself and @Downfall both did some work on. It's safe, has amazing functions(while some of them may be outdated as Strider doesn't play anymore) and a great all around client. I still use it from time to time myself. Here's the link to the staff page on Swiftkit just to prove that our names are on there and we can verify that it's safe + that we worked on it. http://swiftkit.net/index.php?page=staff

Hope you make a decision soon and enjoy whichever overlay you decide to go for.

You never know with Jagex, different JMods say different things. They dont endorse it, but you most likely won't get banned for it. It's still use at your own risk.

Thank you everyone for all the helpful replies, i think since swift has a stronger core use instead of just the help i will be trying that for a bit, though one thing that i do love is the alt 1 in game you tube screen so amazing T_T

I have some swift kit experience but I find it outdated these days I just use the runescape one and a multi desktop to view other stuff like guides and levels

Swiftkit is legal. I can go back on Swiftkit staff forums and show you direct emails we've had from JMods confirming this. We worked in correlation with mods for over 6-7 months to tweak the client to make it legal. It'll never be endorsed by them, but as of today the client breaks no rules at all.
