HEEELLLOOOOOO!

Finally I have time to do an introduction! To hell with templates, I could probably ramble on about myself for hours on end (but I won't don't worry). I'll split it into 2 sections, RS and IRL, mainly to stop myself from constantly hopping between the two and confusing everyone Tongue

RS:

I started playing Runescape in September of 2004. I've been playing on and off on the same account ever since then, and boy, looking back on my time in game played compared to my levels, I'm quite certain in the first few years all I did was stand around. I used to be skiller to the bone. Sure, I trained combat a bit but I never really enjoyed combat so I focused mainly on skills.

I only have three 99 stats (ikr? what was I doing all those times?!). The first one I got was Woodcutting. I got it about a week after skillcapes came out. From 75-90 I cut magic logs, and 90-99 I did yews to speed things up. As you can see I valued $ over exp/hr. It was my favourite skill since I started the game and I felt quite accomplished when I finally maxed it.

The second 99 I got was Fishing. Once I completed woodcutting I kind of just said "sooooo what now?" For the past few years most of my time spent online was spent woodcutting. Fishing seemed like the next best thing, being similar to woodcutting, only, well, fishing. I did sharks until 80, monkfish to 85, cavefish to 90, then rocktail until 99. I really enojyed training this 99 because I had a lot of fun sitting down in the fishing hole (LRC). Whenever we got bored we would play the dice game, only with minerals since no one was carrying GP. It was kind of amusing, people would place bets from 100 up to 50k (highest I saw). I made a lot of money getting this 99 and I still fish quite often. I currently have 15,728,869exp, just over 160k until level "101", if fishing were to pass 99.

My most recent 99 stat is Magic. I decided to switch things up after 99 fishing and get a combat stat. I chose magic because I was in my senior year at high school, so I wanted something I could AFK. Reason being, at my specific school, there was no internet filters (aside from porn and illegal activities). Since everyone at the school had access to a laptop for their studies, should they wish, I would AFK magic while doing school (often online classes mind you). I trained it solely by using string jewelry. I used some of the money I made off fishing to buy over 200k astral runes, and 10k gold ammies (having more than that looked too daunting in the bank). Took me a week or 2 to get this one to 99, its real easy when you scape in the background and are on a computer for 8-10hours a day for school haha.

Currently I'm starting to get into Slayer. For some reason, skilling is starting to seem less pleasing and combat looks more enjoyable. It's probably because for 8 years ALL I did was skill. At the moment I know nothing about combat other than the basics. I am a total noob, and its actually fun. It's almost like I've started playing a whole new game. My current goal is to finish 99 smithing. I had to stop at 94 due to the fact I ran out of GP. To date, Aztechian (an old clan buddy) has donated 20k addy bars to me :3. I also try to do tree runs once a day. It surprised me how fast it would level up when I did it every day for a month. As of now I'm 91 farming, and going strong. It is a lot easier to train a skill when you can only do it once a day for 20 minutes.

My clan history is simple. I joined Got Skills in June 2006, and had been with that clan up until recently. It was a really great community, I loved it. The people were always great, we always had fun and talked in the cc, it was just a great time. Quite often I would log in and sit in lobby just to talk to the clan in fact. Unfortunately, the clan has died out. If you haven't noticed yet, I like to talk a lot, so I had to make leave. Half a year ago or so I was awarded legend status. Although I had never been staff, and was probably a clan friend for at least 75% of the time (leaving and coming back), I had definitely made a mark. At that time, it was noted that I was the oldest standing clan member still playing and with the clan. I had joined a week before the official opening, and the current clan leader (the 2nd oldest member at the time) had joined about a month afterwards.

Don't worry, my real life story will be short and sweet, you have to at least take me to dinner to find out that much about me Tongue

My name is Greg. I'm 19 years old (well tomorrow [June 7] I will be), and currently not attending school. I work 2 jobs, 7 days a week. I work in the kitchen at pizza hut full time. I also do delivery driving for them on the weekends, and am a permanent backup driver for random busy streaks. The fact that I'm the only kitchen staff member who can drive, means I usually get at least 1 per night while working.

In the summer I will be going back to complete a few more courses of highschool, just to upgrade for university. If I can manage that I'll hopefully be attending the pre-pharmacy course for a year, then moving to Vancouver to study Pharmacy at UBC. Chemistry, chemicals, drugs, and everything related has always been a top interest of mine. I know a lot of stuff already (compared to any other average person), but I'm sure its just a fraction of what there is to know, and I can't wait to get it done.

That's basically me in a post. I hope to get to know you all well and I hope my time in this clan lasts longer than with my previous one smile

I'll be shocked if anyone actually manages to read that whole thing xD

Greg, I love a great intro and you didn't disappoint. smile

Welcome to the clan. It seems we're going to be very happy you're with us, given your propensity to chat. Good

So for dinner, how about Thursday, say about 9pm? We can do it at Pizza Hut since you're already there or maybe you'd appreciate eating somewhere else? Grin

I'd prefer to avoid Pizza Hut. I eat enough of that already. I just moved out of my parents recently, so I'm poor, and free food is free. Bad combo really HAHA.

TLDR;

I'm awesome.

That essentially sums up that entire novel I wrote.
