Man it seems as though RuneScape is going to go out of business like all this doom and gloom. I think I'm going to be here til the end even though I have been here since '05.

It really makes no sense for this program. It really just help those botters even more. They just make up new accounts and they reap the rewards.

JaGeX can't be broke.
The amount of staff they employ and they're still trying to hire? I doubt they have no money.
They're just being greedy and probably want the money to 'move on' from RuneScape and plow it into another game, which will also turn out to be a money-making-scheme.
