Yesterday I stumbled across a post on a forum that showed the pros and cons of a dicing clan. So I decided to investigate a bit more, knowing the detective I am I uncovered a very controversial way to make money in RuneScape.
Dicing is a gamble basically. There are several ways to win money by dicing, but overall it has an average of around 52% chance of winning money. The game is simple, you take a dice bag, find a host in a legit clan and give this person the money you wish to bet. The host then advertises for that amount of money and finds a second player that wishes to bet. When this has been done both of the gamblers roll their dice, and which comes out the highest wins the pot -10% (Hosters' fee).
If a player should be robbed of their money and can provide video evidence, the clan removes the host from their rank in the clan and gives back all money to the gamblers.
It's a simple system, but the big question here is, will dicing become a trend and eventually become more recognizable, such as staking. Or is a just a time bomb, waiting to explode and destroy the "dicing" system all together.
Would you participate in dicing if you had the money to get into a legit dicing clan? Or would you simply just go on with a more reliable way to make your money?
Discuss.
