It probably just wasn't ready yet. It's not like Jagex decided out of the blue to make the Bonds update over the weekend.

Anyway, I'm eager to see how this will affect mining xp rates/methods with the new pickaxe and updated lava flow mine. I've still got 2 levels to go on that skill.
