I can't think of anything TOO horrible that's happened to me in RuneScape. But for the sake of this thread, I'll say losing my friends to other games and hobbies, without being able to keep in touch with them. I don't care if people go off and do their own thing, but I want to be able to stay in touch... after all, we're friends, right? Sadly they just take off without a word, really.
