New Rewards for Minigames

Update looks pretty useless. Mainly cosmetic updates.

I might be getting the RC robes, and maybe the thieving ones (if they look cool), but I don't really plan on doing many of the other mini-games for their rewards. I'd give this update 7/10 or so since it's not totally useless. I just wish they'd add more bank space to accommodate for these updates... I don't want to store everything in my house because I end up needing it more often than I think.

Meg, don't give up on your goal yet! Let's wait and see. Once things settle down, you may be able to plunder in peace, since the outfit doesn't give the bonus if you blackjack/plunder (as Mikuri said) and those are the two most common ways for people to get 99. So I can't imagine everyone wanting them, you know?

For Shay's sake, of course,, not mine...

Now it's not even worth your while and it belittles your awesome effort of maxing thieving.

EDIT: oh i might have misunderstood. Meg has given up on 200m thieving which is extremely bad.

Seems decent enough, but it just creates more items and junk in the game.

Nothing I will do from this update, LETS KEEP TREKKING! 142 talon beast charms so far \o/

Eventually I'll attain all of these, but probably not all till I atleast get a maxed cape and need something to do.

Going to try get the rcing outfit, not sure how long it will take, but I'll spend some time try before the skillweek on it anyway.

I agree with mikuri though on everything he said, most people won't go out of their way to get this gear, just those that enjoy the minigames and completionists.

This is so stupid, they had the chance to make the best way to runecraft be by making runes and they blew it- 2.5% boost for an armour that takes 33 hours worth of playing to get? I can't even begin to comprehend who approved of the idea.

PP armour doesn't work in PP or other viable thieving training methods so what is it ACTUALLY for? If I'm wrong and it works on monkey knife fighters then the reasoning is illogical for banning it from pyramid plunder..

The new staff can't be used with anti-poison totem so not worth wielding it to get the new rewards...

The trawler rewards convert fishing trawler to being semi useless as opposed to absolutely useless for experience- cool. And you can give up a decent amulet which has stats to a statless one to possibly get 20 extra lifepoints per heal- but only if you use crap food! Can't see a single spot where this would have a use.

Hybrid armour is nice but almost unobtainable due to unreal drop rates according to the RU forums.

Don't even get me started on lunar farm...
- The new patches they hinted at require a wish for a one use allotment patch, absolutely no use.
- The borrowed power gives no useful spells and no viable method of even using the ones it does give you. Absolutely no use.
- The new farm patch teleport is the only one with any use- spend days grinding and save up to 30 seconds per run- woohoo!

After much work and money you can upgrade dagonhai to give less of a prayer bonus than the armour from a quick and easy quest. Can't find a viable use for these things.

So in summary this update was the release of an apparently cool looking pet.
