You've made all of your unfinished potions.

Planted all of your magic, palm, and spirit seeds.

Purchased plenty of pure essence for runecrafting.

Prepared as much as possible for any other skill you plan on training (if yours wasn't listed above).

And then.

Out of no where.

A wild ISP technician appears!

You are now without internet.

There are only 40 minutes left until bonus exp weekend starts.

You call your ISP.



They tell you that they are working on the lines and it will be another 2-3 days before they can get them back up and running again.
There are no unsecured wireless networks in your area.

Would you call up a friend and see if you could play at their house?
Would you shell out some cash and go to an internet cafe to pay and use their internet?
Would you just ditch the computer and do something else for the weekend, despite all your preparing?
Would you drive around in a few different neighborhoods with your laptop, hoping to find an unsecured wireless network to leech from?

Oops Skimmed it, but then go to a friends house.

Ways for me:
1. I know a place, like 15-20 minutes away by car which have free Internet because the rich dude is too dumb to put a password. Uber fast Internet too. \o/

2. Go to my GF's house. She lives 55 minutes away, so I doubt it's the same line

3. I go to a bar/restaurant/cafe to play.

4. RAGEQUIT RS IF EVERYTHING ELSE FAILS.

I'd go to my dad's if I was that desperate LOL he lives 1 min walk away

If no dad, then I'd buy a $100 USB wireless stick and use that for the weekend <--- have even done this before :p

Cry a bunch, pull hair out and then just come to realise I'll just have to put 2.7x more effort in once I gets internet back. In mean time get everything that will stop me form scaping in future out of the way (assignments, tuts, lawn...).
