Yup a Scam. I get them on my MSN account all the time, many saying different things each time claming I did this that and the other thing. When I wasn't sure if it was real or not I just went to the RS site my self and went into my message center and checked to see if I had any messages from Jagex in there about these "offences". Never did so I knew it was a Scam for sure.

Shortly after all that I changed my email address finally, went from MSN to Gmail, then changed my Email address with RS and now I don't have to see those messages in my inbox in less I go and check my MSN account just to see if I got something important there.

Well thank's guys! I should have known this myself after playing the game for 6 years.. but it's just the emailed looked so legit that I have to question my own intelligence.

That's just it tho, they look Legit. It's better to ask then find out the hard way and get hacked. Don't question your intelligence over something like that Wink

I had a message from 'Jagex' once saying that my account had been locked for RWT activity.

So, I clicked on the link and went to the account screen and logged in one of my newbie accounts, turns out that the apparent 'ban' had been lifted (even though I have never done RWT). So anyway I obviously didn't lose anything and an announcement came out a week later on the RSOF saying that fake emails were being sent out etc.

I used my brains a little by logging in on a newer account, but I should have known it was a fake email anyway.

-----

I've also had fake emails from 'Blizzard' saying that my non-existant WoW account had been suspended. So I sent an abusive email back saying I don't even have a WoW account >.<

I've gotten a few of these emails. The funny thing is...I get emails from Blizzard saying my WOW account is banned or something when I have never even played WOW! Lmao
