Scammers tend to be a step ahead on these things and a trick like that isn't going to work twice. If you get greedy and think you can beat them at their own game, that's how they'll get you.

The whole thing seems utterly ridiculous! I don't even know where to begin!

It seems a scam that the victim would easily know is a scam and the scammer would know that the victim would know it's a scam, so it then becomes a game to see who can out-scam the other.

The scammer should have tried to trade 28 items (including a law talisman) with the victim whilst the victim wore the santa hat, thus demonstrating to the scammer that the victim had no further items on them (ie. a spare law talisman).

The victim could have used one of those dragon keepsakes to make a bronze helm look like a santa hat (is that how those things work?) but this could have been verified had the scammer asked the victim to show a trade with the santa hat beforehand.

The victim could have had a friend already inside the law altar (pm'd to tele to law alter in another world then "join" the victim in their world) who could have picked up the santa hat prior to the victim exciting the altar. If time was needed the victim could have stalled for time. The scammer could also have had a friend inside waiting out of sight...

The scammer could have instantly entered the altar the moment they saw the victim exit, thus eliminating the need to trade 75m or anything else. The scammer would then be first in to claim the "dropped" santa hat (providing the victim's friend wasn't already in their laughing at the scammer...).

No

But thanks for alerting us to this nonsence Salvator. Good job. smile
