Legacy Vote

PSA: The vote coming this Monday is NOT whether or not Legacy is ready, it's to determine whether players think it is sufficient as an update to bridge the combat gap.

For this reason, I will be, and I hope that you all will see that voting YES is likely the best course of action. If Legacy is shot down, it will have been a missive waste of dev time, and guess what, they'd plan to go right back to the drawing board to try and find another solution.

The thing is that, if Legacy does fail in the vote, I doubt Jagex will EVER find the answer. A lot of people that wanted Legacy are still whining about not having old animations, old armour stats, crap like that, and honestly won't stop until EOC is no more. Please consider voting yes to end it once and for all, and free up these poor devs to work on something more worth their time and effort.

I don't know what I am going to vote yet, still haven't decided. I am leaning towards a yes

But just for the record, this doesn't need to go into a beta for a long time at all. This side of Runescape has already changed and they know how all the old weapons can be balanced or how they should have been balanced. They just need to figure out what is new in the game and make sure that it all works the way that it is supposed to. That is why the EoC beta was such a long beta.. because it was all new and had a lot of working on that was needed.

I am totally down with the pkers getting their game back because lets face it, that was a big reason why RS got through its earlier years. Yes pkers can be trashy and douchey and pain in the asses but it still is a part of the game that needs to flourish. And this is the only way that I see that aspect of the game back. It still needs work but they aren't taking the introduction of legacy mode lightly. They know what they are doing and after watching the Q&As, I have full confidence in that team.

Just to let you know, if maybe this edit was directed at my last post, I have watched the Q&A livestream (which was great for James and Simon's first time), and I know that they're trying to bring a lot of the old stuff back, but as Mod Dean stated a couple times, some things they won't budge on (OP weapons and the like).
