Death System rework in the works

I feel like this is making death unnecessarily complicated. Paying a tax to get your items back, having a 3 day window to get your items back, it feels like too much in my opinion. Death shouldn't be some half assed game of numbers - it should be quick and unforgiving so that people aren't so apathetic about it. If I die in game, I want to feel the stress of running back to my location before everyone takes my items or my grave expires, not calculating how much I'll have to pay for my items. Make death something to be feared again, not a chore.

Removing gravestones entirely would have been a better thing to do but again, that also would have got alot of negative feedback i am sure. At least this will make death a bit more annoying, although maybe it is not the best solution it is still something. Right now there are really no coinciquences to dying but losing charges on your degradable armour/weapons.

Update:

Mod Hunter has posted the thread in future game updates forums with the full outline of the death penalty changes.

It looks really good so far and the actual price of the death is still subject to change since that will need balancing.
