Perhaps a feature can be added wherein points are awarded for loyalty wrt length of time in the clan (e.g. 6 months or 1 year, etc.)

There's forum badges you can earn next to your name that show the years of membership you've had within surreal.  This rank system is seperate it seems, to help get events more active which is nice I think.

I also understood it as an initiative to show appreciation as well as motivate members regarding participation in events. I remember the the implementation of badges and looking at Jon's, for example, 'Surreal -Tier 5' is 5 years in the clan? Maybe they can be made more clear, or I can read up on the guide of what the awards are hehe.

I really do like this as a way to motivate people to attend events.. An active clan together is a happy clan!

Just a quick update so you're all aware:

With Jordan undergoing end of the year stuff at uni, and the release of the improved HUB potentially being delayed, we have decided to go ahead with manually updating forum ranks (clan chat ranks have also now come into effect to match everyone's forum rank).

I will run weekly checks to ensure that both forum and chat ranks are current.

Thank you for the update Mel. It is indeed going to be delayed. I will try to push the update out before uni is finished, but that's something I cannot guarantee at the moment. I'm working hard and will be with you all soon!

While we wait for the complete re-work of the HUB, there has been some minor changes to the current one. Members can now view their total points earned.
