Troll Invasion

Loving this update already and I haven't been into the game to play it yet. Reasons why this update rocks:

1. The boss troll's name is Cliff, which is hilarious considering Crow almost made Clifford a troll in the "What RuneScape NPC are you?" thread. Cliff, you troll!

2. Being able to choose the skill to put your exp in is always nice. I really enjoy hunting penguins, so them adding another, similar event (even if it's only monthly) will help out quite a bit when it comes to leveling those not-so-fun skills. ^_^

Seems like more free rc exp, I also love this because it is monthly so I dont have to worry about another thing to do so often. Btw, is it monthly as in a month since you last did it (like ToG) or is it reset at a certain time (like Penguins)?

completed wave 20 and defeated Cliff - wasn't as hard as I was expecting although I'm sure the "hard" version of this D&D is very challenging.

I was able to finish it with whip/bandos and using sara brew/restores/extremes + range and with a steel titan, the trolls lower your str/att and range so make sure you take pots!

Holy crap, overkill! I just used 3 pieces of armor, dds, and korasi sword. No food, no pots. They have a potion in the event that restores all your HP, prayer points, and special attack bar, and you can drink it 4-5 times during each wave.

Meg thinks she is bad at combat. She doesnt understand that except for some crazy boss monsters like Nex you just click and watch your character hith high numbers. Shhh..it is a secret.

I didn't read any guide on this D&D so didn't even know there was a pot thing you can use there, I'm proud anyway that I conquered Cliff even if i did take more than what is needed lol and Micah I know im bad at combat LOL

Thats a bit less imo,, they could have done better with their coding time then :p

Agreed, I think they should change it to once a week like the penguins...

Then they would have to lower exp rates.
I like it this way, lots of exp and once a month.

TBH, I feel they are already close to what you get in a penguin week, so IMO, it'd be perfect to swap to the weekly thing. If not, at least a fortnight, a month is just waaay to long
