The most useless skill

firemaking i mean wtf?

After the release of dungeoneering, which I now use as a reference to usefulness. I would have to say hunter is quite useless. I haven't seen it used once. Next would be flecthing. I use firemaking quite a bit when I need food.

Interesting insight about Hunter - it's always been a money maker for me, nothing more.

Outside Dungeonering yeah it's quite useful once you find a spot that isn't covered by bots.

Firemaking: the only thing remotely useful of this skill is providing us with light in dark caves and in case of emergency fires to cook something.

Thieving: ... this actually has no benefits? You could unlock doors I guess and make a little money with plunder.

I can't say any of the skills are useless, I have either made money off of all of them at one time or another or enjoyed it immensely while leveling or started going bug eyed :to_become_senile:

Now what skills sorely tested my patience, now that's a different story! That would be Prayer

Firemaking for sure.

Like :

-Fletching, as buying it from others is also good and way faster.
-Firemaking, no comment.
-Woodcutting, used for the things I named above so makes it also useless.
-Crafting, buying it from others is cheaper so why bother Crafting?

I would definitely say that firemaking, to me, is the most useless skill available in the game.

I would have to say firemaking is the most useless. The only point to making a fire is to cook on it, but there are so many places with a cooking range next to a bank to make cooking easy. However, with that being said, I LOVE FIREMAKING!!!! might be cause I'm a bit of a pyro-maniac
