Capes of Distinction

Two more rc levels for the 80+ cape, then I'll have that one to wear instead of this vets cape that turned out definitely lackluster compared to what I was hoping.

Oh well. Looking forward to the day, if ever, I get the maxed cape.

Btw, for anyone wondering, the completionist cape also has a trimmed version, here's the requirements (almost full list, there may be a few missing.



- Basic

All skill levels at maximum (120 Dungeoneering and 99 in all other skills.)
All quests complete
All tasks complete
All magic spells unlocked (Spells from Livid Farm, Mage Training Arena, and the Mage Arena)
All prayers unlocked (Prayer from Dungeoneering and Camelot training room)
All Varrock museum Kudos

- Miniquests:

Abyss
Ghostly robes
Shadow sword
Goblin High Priest
The Lair of Tarn Razorlor
Returning Clarence
Stronghold of Player Safety
Stronghold of security

- To wear the trimmed completionist cape you will need the following in addition to the previous:

4.000 Chompy kills.
Scabarite research complete.
Highest rune shop unlocked from Ali Morrisane.
All hot-air balloon travel routes unlocked.
Eagle transport routes fully unlocked.
All Smoking Kills sub-bosses unlocked.
Unlock ability to craft all Slayer items and to deliver killing blows quicker.
Master White Knight rank obtained.
Flying broomstick unlocked.
Found all hidden treasure from Making History.
Achieve 1.250+ Conquest rank.
Unlocked the full power of the Ivandis flail.
Played 5.000 games of Castle Wars.
Unlocked maximum access to Mobilising Armies rewards.
Defeated all champions.
Achieve maximum rank in each Barbarian Assault role.
Complete all Court Cases.
Complete 25 chimp ice deliveries.
Find all barbarian notes in the Ancient Cavern.
Unlock all rewards from the Artisans Workshop.
Obtain all circus clothing.
Complete the Dahmaroc statue in your player-owned house.
Unlock the 'scroll of cleansing' ability."

just FYI, the 5k castle wars games takes about 2k hours. Or 86 days of playing straight.

The more I think about it..the more I love this update!
I only wish the milestone capes got the same stuff as the rest (bonuses, a hood, an emote). Still I am loving this.

I have to admit, when these capes came out, I lost a lot of motivation at first. Even though I slowly reach my own small goals, I doubt I will ever play the game so much as to obtain the completionist cape.

For a while there, that thought alone just drained my motivation. But then I figured, hey, had these capes not come out, I wouldn't be feeling this way. I shouldn't lose my motivation to play over it.

So here I am, still pushing forward, haha. I face the fact that I will probably never get a completionist cape, but that is okay with me. And no, I'm not trying to be a pessimist about it; I enjoy RuneScape but I honestly do not see myself ever maxing out.

There is too much to do in my life that I don't want to miss out on because of some pixels eating up away all my hours. @_@

And Ive done a few things out of the completionist cape list, but not many

Really Shay? I feel the exact opposite way lol. I didnt feel like playing, but the capes gave me to motivation to log back in even though I likely may never get one. I like having something to aim for.
