Mine was from noreply@email.runescape.com, had no spelling errors and used my rsn. To be honest though I never even bother trying/checking links in the emails. I just wait for the actual runescape webpage to have a login or whatever it is the email was for and go from there rather than from the email.

I still haven't gotten an email so I don't think I was selected for the beta Sad

But I never have to worry bout fake runescape phishing emails since the email I have registered for runescape is used only for runescape and I have never mentioned what the name is to anyone.

If if they did send an actual e-mail that doesn't mean that that e-mail was legit, it could still be a fake especially considering they didn't use your RS display name.

Anyways, just don't click the links anyway would be my suggestion.

The page before this I got confirmation that the email address was legit

I know I read it... that was the whole point of my post lol. It just seems strange how they sent some with the actual username and the others just said adventurer. I am glad it is legit though.

Not at all, just some were generated at different times.
