Old School Surreal & Discussion

To add to my original point - with Skype, it's not very inclusive. You can't have someone just 'join' the call on a whim, they need to be invited. We want everyone to be able to join in whenever they like and not have to wait to be invited by somebody!

With a group, once you're invited, you're in for as long as you don't quit by force

As I said before, Skype is inefficient with resources, some people don't have flashy computers. Skype doesn't have different rooms for different purposes and it is exclusive in nature. I don't support Skype for the clan, you guys can unofficially use it, but I don't see what you have against TS. It's actually much better for games and your bandwidth.

I only want the best for you guys as a clan, and I'm not prepared to rely on Microsoft to provide us with voice communication. It might be great for 3 people, but what if voice chat got popular for an event? I've been in 20-person Skype calls and they are an absolute nightmare. Don't even get me to explain how to ban someone if we need to. You'll never get me to drop a formal server of some kind for a free, inferior alternative. Sorry.
