Agreed, "Nuke" is used a lot of places, not just COD.. I'm just JaGex can be more origional than that .. you don't hear them shouting "Nuke that bot" in COD.

As i said in the post, but im sure if call of duty didnt exist, the term nuke day, of the bots wouldnt of been thought up, perhaps, bots armageddon, or something, I think call of duty definatly famed the word more.

Personally, I find it unprofessional saying they are calling it "Bot Nuke Day." To me it seems immature and childish.

I mean who would go into a corporate office somewhere in a major office and say "hey everyone i'm going to nuke the finances today." ..... yeah...

Anyways I hope they can live up to this hype because if this anti-bot system doesnt work, there are going to a mess of unhappy people.

Once again I still don't think this has anything to do with Call of Duty, JaGex aren't going to be boring about it and say "It's bot-banning day", JaGex want something that catches eyes.

Nuke is the perfect word.

I went to JaGeX in Feb for an interview and they dont treat the place like a company...more like an adult playground.

A nuke is a nuclear weapon. Created long before the idea of COD was even thought up. I doubt COD influenced the idea of calling it Bot Nuke Day at all. Its a warfare term. Nukes completly destroy things. That's what Jagex was trying to do, destroy how bots work.
The only 2 nukes that were used in warfare were dropped on Japan. If anything, that influenced Jagex's decision more than COD.
