[Mod Please Close] So... Chaotic long vs Chaotic Rapier vs Chaotic Maul

So, I'm 4k away from 79 Dungeoneering and I'm wondering.. When I hit 80 what do you guys think I should get? I'm kinda leaning toward the Chaotic long, what do you guys think?

Rapier, hands down. It hits faster than chaotic long, meaning it does more damage in the long run. Maul is okay, but I'd get rapier first, then go for maul later.

Everyone is telling me to get a long. :S

Rapier - Slayer etc.
Long - PvM bosses
Maul - Pking and other random stuff.

Ive got the Rapier, and I gotta say, it is one of the best weapons Ive ever had. Long is def more bossing kinda wep, with Maul differing between certain slayer tasks and Bossing and PvPing.

I think your vote is kinda conclusive though

Ah, the great debate as I describe it.

Rapier - Fastest weapon of the three listed, quite accurate and great for stab bonus. 2nd best in terms of Damage/Second.

Longsword - A rounded weapon in terms of stats, Decent for bossing, 3rd in terms of Damage/Second.

Maul - A great crushing weapon, great for waterfiends, and other monsters that require crush to be decent. 1st in terms of Damage/Second.

Going by this I would have to chose the rapier first, the chaotic maul second, and the longsword third.

Although truthfully I would never get the longsword because it is a midway weapon that can be covered by the rapier alone, and the maul sits at the higher hits.

Wouldn't know, have you seen my DG level lately?

I actually was wondering the same and because I am nearly maxed, I tought a CLS for bosses would be the best option. How does a rapier do against GWD bosses?
