Refer a Friend Programme

Another reason I've began to loathe Jagex. I wish they'd just admit to the fact they're struggling with the game at the moment.

Lunagang, a dutch clan/comminuty, interviewed a Jmod that left Jagex (Mod Moonie).

Now I don't know how legit this interview was but there were some disturbing facts summed up.
1 of which was that RuneScape is losing alot of players, in the last year the amount of hits has halved. With this Refer-a-friend bullcrap it actually seems that this interview was more legit than I thought at first and it proves how desperate Jagex is to get people to buy members.

That is from a poster on tip.it ^

I can't really say that I see what all the fuss is about, there won't be a great amount of people that will use this program, and even if they do, you're only earning an extra 10% experience on top of your present gain. It doesn't really seem to have a huge impact if I'm honest :/
If someone wants to pay to create a brand new account and give it membership they can, it doesn't affect me and they only gain a 10% boost on the account that they actually want to level. The other account is only receiving 2x the experience until level 30, its not too bad.
It's not going to make any of them any more money in my opinion.

They will make more money when people with money irl spend it to gain an advantange. In itself that isnt a huge deal, but Jagex was always against how your irl situation was affecting gameplay, which is why a lot of people are upset, they are going back on themselves. I wouldnt really care if the bonus didnt stack with like effegies and other things like that, I find that unfair. :/

Interview of that mod is in Dutch. As I read it (I can), she said nothing. The part where has been talking about the devaluation of RS and the latests updates, thats just some guy from Lunagang itself. If there is an interesting question, she answers 'I can't say much about it. Obviously she under contract to not-say shit about em.

JaGex are trying to hard to gain people to play. However, I am currently gaining the 10% extra.
